My name is Kanishka Goyal, and I am reaching out for my beloved mother, Savitri Devi (61), who is currently in a life-or-death struggle. Since January 26, 2025, she has been battling multiple critical conditions: Hypoxic Brain Injury, COPD, LRTI, and Type 2 Respiratory Failure. At this moment, she is on 100% ventilator support in the Surgical ICU at Fortis Hospital, receiving all possible life-saving treatments.
While the doctors remain cautiously optimistic, the road to recovery is long and uncertain. They have estimated that she will require at least 90 more days of intensive care (as of February 19, 2025). Unfortunately, the financial burden is overwhelming. The daily expenses for ICU care alone are approximately $1K, with an additional $5000 for other medical needs. Our family has already exhausted all our savings and taken loans, but the financial strain is far from over, and the road ahead remains steep and uncertain.
We are aiming to raise $30,000 to cover the ongoing medical expenses and treatment costs.
