My husband Ananth Kumar, age 38 had undergone Brain Tumor-Meningioma surgery last April 2024. After one week of the surgery, he developed stroke, and his left part of the body was paralyzed completely. He was recovering positively with the help of Physiotherapy & rehab. Post surgery, the operated area was filled with the CSF fluid and his head was bloated very big. So, the second surgery for the dural patch closure of the CSF was done on August 2024.
Now from the past 15 days, there was a small swelling in the operated area associated with pus discharge. After MRI, it is confirmed that the skull bone has been infected and the infected bone has to be removed (Bone flap removal) and need to replace it through cranioplasty surgery in staged manner (means one or two operation to replace the synthetic skull).
This surgery is planned on 20th February, and the expected expense would be (including the surgery and Pre & post hospitalization charges). I am exhausted with all my funds as I have already spent more for two surgeries.
In this worst financial situation, I am requesting for funds from all my known circle. Kindly let me know if anyone needs the relevant documents and I can share them individually.
